Who we are

Aerial World Parts & Services ("AWPS," "we," "us") operates www.awpsworld.com (the "Site"). We are a family-run aerial lift repair, inspection, sales, and parts business located at W190N11350 Carnegie Dr, Germantown, WI 53022. Information you provide to us

When you submit a request through our intake form, we collect the information you enter. Depending on the request, that may include your name, company, phone number, email address, your machine's brand, model, and serial number, a description of the issue, your timeline, and any photos you attach, such as a photo of a machine's data plate or of a failed part.

If you contact us by phone, text message, WhatsApp, or email, we receive the information you choose to share, including your contact details and the contents of your message.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, we and our service providers may automatically collect certain technical information when you visit the Site, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, and the page that referred you.

We may use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Site. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects usage information as described in Google's own privacy documentation. You can opt out of Google Analytics at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Our hosting and security provider, Cloudflare, may also process technical data such as IP addresses in order to deliver and protect the Site.

How we use information

To respond to your requests and prepare quotes. To perform repair, inspection, sales, and parts services, and to communicate with you about your machine and your request. To keep business records, including service and inspection documentation. To operate, secure, and improve the Site. To comply with legal obligations.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in the following circumstances: with service providers that help us run the Site and our business, including website hosting and security (Cloudflare), delivery of form submissions to our email (Resend), and website analytics (Google), each processing information on our behalf; if you contact us through WhatsApp, your messages are transmitted through WhatsApp and are subject to WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy; with professional advisers, such as accountants or attorneys, where needed; with authorities or other parties where required by law or to protect our legal rights; and with a successor business in the event of a sale, merger, or transfer of our business.

Cookies and Do Not Track

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies for analytics as described above. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them will not prevent you from using the Site. The Site does not currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals.

Data retention

We keep request and service records for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above, including maintaining machine service and inspection history, and as required by law. Once a transaction is completed, data is retained in our business software for internal reporting.

Your choices

You can contact us at kira@awpsworld.com to ask what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to ask us to delete it, subject to records we need to keep for legal or business reasons. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under the laws of your state or country. We will not treat you differently for exercising any privacy right.

International visitors

We are a United States business and the Site is operated from the United States. If you visit the Site or contact us from outside the US, including through our international parts page, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country.

Children

The Site is intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Links to other services

The Site contains links to third-party services, such as WhatsApp. Those services operate under their own terms and privacy policies, which we encourage you to review.
